Hi, I’m Reese and I’m an analog photographer based in Annapolis, MD and Brooklyn, NY.
I describe my style as a fusion of documentary storytelling and fine art aesthetics, to capture raw and unfiltered emotions. My focus lies in portraying interpersonal connections and the beauty of everyday life, whether it's the profound love between couples, intimate family moments, or candid interactions during celebrations. I prioritize natural light and organic compositions to craft timeless and evocative photographs.
My practice is deeply rooted in my experience of grappling with chronic pain, being diagnosed with fibromyalgia at the age of 26. I've come to understand the fragility of life, the luxury of health, and the profound significance of each passing moment. Life is fleeting, love is delicate, and our bodies are but vessels for our experiences. I aim to capture the essence of this ephemeral existence and love’s expansiveness, forging lasting connections, savoring the joy of others, and creating beauty in the process.
Reese is a graduate from the University of Southern California, where she earned a degree in film. She worked in the production arts department at United Talent Agency and was the executive assistant of a world renowned cinematographer and his partner.
